At Blue Jays Netball Club, our goal is to inspire a love for netball through teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development. Our inclusive environment supports young athletes to grow, build friendships, and reach their full potential both on and off the court.

About us

Jimboomba Blue Jays Netball Club is the largest club participating in the Jimboomba Netball Association Competition, with 19 teams, including over 175 players registered in the 2024 season.

We have teams from NetSetGo (ages 5-10 years), Intermediate (ages 11-13) and Cadet (ages 14-18). Our season runs from March through to September. Fixtures are played on Saturdays at Jimboomba Netball Association. Training is held on various nights at South Street Courts for all players, except those in Net and Set teams who do not have additional training sessions.

How do I sign my child up?  

Sign on details are released end of December/beginning of January each year for the upcoming season. Keep an eye out on our socials for details!

When does the season run?

The season begins in March and finishes in September each year.

When are training and games?

Games are all played at the Jimboomba Netball Association courts on South Street in Jimboomba. Training days and times are dependant on coach availability.

Competition Structure

Jimboomba Blue Jays Netball Club are one of 6 netball clubs affiliated with Jimboomba Netball Association (JNA).

JNA are responsible for running the Saturday competition which is held at South Street Netball Courts, Jimboomba. JNA make decisions around how the competition runs and maintain the grounds and clubhouse.

JNA also have representative teams from across all clubs who represent JNA each year in rep carnivals. Trials are held to select players from across all clubs who play under the JNA competition. Players who are turning 12 – 18 are eligible to trial for their respective age group. Rep teams are selected, organised and run by the Jimboomba Netball Association. We encourage all eligible Blue jays players to give it a go if they have goals to further their netball journey!
