In the late 1990s and early 2000s independent teams formerly played as part of Jimboomba Netball Club but became Jimboomba Blue Jays Netball Club in 2008 and the Club was incorporated in 2009.

The Club was formed to encourage, promote and foster the game of netball and provide a fun, friendly environment for children to learn and develop their abilities to play one of the fastest growing sports.

We endorse competitive sportsmanship, fair play and team spirit between players.

Our Club has grown fast from the beginning, and had 16 teams in 2018 registered to play at the Jimboomba Netball Association Saturday competition.

We field teams from NetSetGo (ages 5-10 years), Intermediate (ages 11-12) and Cadet (ages 13-18). Our season runs from March to September. Fixtures are played on a Saturday with games at 9am, 10.15, 11.30 and 12.25pm).  Training is held on various nights at South Street Courts for all players except those in Net and Set teams who do not have additional training sessions.
